"The Man On The Train" I met a man on the train today Who seemed to have his eyes, He had a look of concern on his face And I knew he wanted to know why. "Why are you crying," he asked me "Because I have no meaning to life," I said, He looked at me with curious wonder I continued to say, "My fiancee' is dead." I began to cry even harder As he placed his hand on my hand His touch seemed all too familiar As he said, "I know of this man." He told me he has recently seen this man And my eyes brightened with cheer, As I looked into his eyes I saw That they were filling with tears. "You do not need to cry any longer For he is with you everyday," I wonder how he knew this with such assurance But this was no man, he was an angel, and Eric was his name. "I Do" His eyes of brown, so dark and so round He says it best when he doesn't make a sound. I can read his thoughts through his heart His sincerity and boldness go way off the charts. He treats me like a princess, like a Goddess in the night He turns my life from love to hate, my world from dark to light. He makes sure that I'm okay, that I'm safe and out of harm I don't know how I got so lucky, he's my life, he's a charm. Whenever I have a problem, I can hold him next to me And I know all will be okay, for he is strong when I am weak. Jealousy is something that shall never enter our hearts We were made for one another, no matter where we are. He is my hero, my Prince Charming, my bold and daring knight And I'm his heroine, his Cinderella, and all that he excites. He is my inspiration, my one and only guiding light He means everything to me, I love him with all my might. I know our love is meant to be, he feels the same way too For on July 7th, we shall say "I Do."
